Pastor William Andrews

William Andrews is Senior Pastor of The Heart of Mercy Community Church and Executive Director of Mercy Drive Ministries, which includes the Achiever’s Club and the Windsor Cove Initiative in Orlando Florida; Pastor Andrews graduated from Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield Massachusetts with an Associate Degree in Broadcast Journalism. He attended University of Massachusetts Boston campus to study Political Science at The Kennedy School of Government. William was ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 2003 after finishing his ministerial studies at the Nazarene Bible Institute of Central Florida.

Pastor Andrews’s long involvement in the community started at Restore Orlando Inc., where he served as Senior Pastor and a member of the Board of Directors. Pastor Andrews also served on Governor Jeb Bush Front Porch Community Neighborhood Council for Holden Hights.


William was appointed by City Commissioner Robert Stuart to serve as one of the representatives for the City of Orlando on the Central Florida Regional Commission on Homelessness. He continues his involvement as a member of the Board of Directors of the Grace Medical Home and Orlando Board for Habitat for Humanity. He is one of the founders of the Mercy Drive Corridor Initiative along with First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. Pastor Andrews continues to work to bring the various partnerships and resources to the Mercy Drive Community and its residents.
